I've been seeing Aaron for a little over a year. I keep coming back because he helps me to think and see and feel. He makes me work but it's the work that makes the difference. Every time I come, I'm greeted with a smile by Jessica and when I'm really lucky, Vivian says hello.

Therapy here has had a significantly positive effect on my life. I have not only learned so much about my addiction and compulsive behaviors but I have experienced a release of the power that my triggers had over me. Through talking with other addicts in recovery I hear them complain about therapy. This is not my experience, I have only good things to say. My therapist, Aaron, understands my addiction and provides a healthy environment for recovery. We have used tools such as EMOR and role playing during our sessions.

I could go on for days about the impact the team at Lifeworks Recovery has had on my life. Life as I know it today would have been impossible to achieve without Chris Lorenc. Everyone in my life has noticed a difference from where I was and where I am now. Knowing some of the other resources in Dallas, I can honestly say the Lifeworks Recovery it THE BEST in the DFW area.

I highly recommend LifeWorks Recovery for counseling services. I have been seeing Chris Lorenc for counseling for awhile, and the sessions have changed my life. I feel as though I have able to step out of the darkest hole in my life. I was going nowhere, and I was stuck. It's true that most healing occurs in counseling due to the counselor-client relationship, and I have found that to be on target. Chris helped me navigate through my past, which includes alcohol addiction due to sexual abuse as a child and sexual harassment. Chris has combined empathy, warmth, humor, and confronting me on my blind spots when necessary. I appreciate his persistence in helping me when, at times, I wanted to quit counseling when the going got especially tough. I will always be grateful for his work with me. LifeWorks Recovery has a group of top-notch counselors, and they offer group as well as individual counseling. If you want your life to change for the better, I highly recommend LifeWorks Recovery.
